Presenting: Eva

More stylying! Phew, I’ve been busy with it! I’ve graduated from toting my things in a laundry hamper and show boxes to a full-blown suitcase. The wheels are worth it! This past Friday Elizabeth Wiseman had a full day-long shoot for 2 new finds from Centro Models-St. Louis. I had time in the afternoon to work with one of girls, Eva. It was a full portfolio shoot, meaning she had several different looks. Everything from natural to beauty to edgy was shot. It’s essential to have a variety of looks in a models portfolio. If you’re a model you want to book as many gigs as you can so it’s beneficial to you to fit in multiple fashion categories. Eva was such a natural! Her agent was hoping that with these pictures she might book something with Abercrombie & Fitch over this December or January. I have no doubt that she will! Half of these photos she had zero makeup on. Zero! Crrrrazy beautiful. Thanks to Elizabeth and her assistant, Matt, for the stunning pictures! I love playing dress-up with you!

Scintilla

Just wanted to upload a picture of my CAD 1 final. We had to pick a specific clothing catagory such as Career Wear or Sportswear or Formal Wear. I wanted my choice to be obvious (in order for no points to be taken off) so I desined lingerie because it’s pretty unmistakable. I definitely need to get an A on this project!

Here is a picture of the process:

There were eventually 4 outfits included. I’ve digitally designed everything excluding a lace print pattern included in Adobe Illustrator. Had I had more time and experience, I would have wanted to go farther with an original, seamless vector print. I had a limited amount of time and as I’m uploading full collection’s picture, I can see a couple small mistakes that I want to fix eventually. But for the time allotted, I’m pretty happy with the results.

I googled “pretty English words” to stumble upon the title of this small collection. “Scintilla”  (sn-tl – sin-till-ah) is defined as a “minute amount”. I think the name works because I was going for a minute amount of fabric. View in the gallery below. Thanks!

Better Late Than Never

Oh you poor, little blog! I haven’t seen you in so long. Forgive me!

Ok, so I promised more photos. I definitely believe in the impact of the visual. That’s why I love that I have more pictures than words on my posts. I recognize the interest in sites like Pintrest and I hope my blog acts kind of like an ode to that. Except I want to offer all my readers/viewers some content as well as images. Let me know what content you are interested in and I’ll write about it. Inspire me and I will dedicate a post to you!

Below are some additional photos of two gorgeous models from West Talent: Ashley and Abby. Both girls were so wonderful, so young, and SO talented! And may I include another shout-out to Elizabeth Wiseman Photography (http://wisemanphoto.com/), Emily Miller for Abby only(http://www.delicatelybold.com/), and Lei for Ashley only with Mac Cosmetics-Chesterfield?! Thank you for letting me be a small part of these wonderful photographs!

Love to all,
Elizabeth

P.S. Fashion images for me are like candy. So don’t get a cavity with the latest upload!
